As some of you may or may not know, the "First Annual Sushi Bridged Open House" has been postponed. As much as we wanted to have the event this year (Nov 20th 2010) we aren't able to for the following reasons:

Funding, we were unable to secure the proper funding for the type of event we wanted to have.

Venue, partially because of the funding issue we were unable to secure the proper venue with the proper equipment/space needed for this event .

Seasonal weather, because of the above reason our only choice would be to have the event out doors and the problem with that is the weather. It's just too cold out to do so. There is also that chance of snow, sleet, freezing rain and stuff like that. Also, travel becomes an issue this time of year. We have to think those who don't drive or come from other regions of the state.
